About Me

Welcome to my webpage, my name is Samantha Pente. I am a Board Certified Lactation Consultant and the owner of Great Lakes Lactation Services, LLC. I am also the mother of three wonderful boys. When I struggled with breastfeeding with my first baby I had the opportunity to meet with an IBCLC at the hospital where I gave birth, and I will forever be grateful I did. She not only helped me with my own breastfeeding struggles, but inspired me in my journey to become a lactation consultant. I completed the Lactation Consultant Program at Henry Ford College which is one of only eleven CAAHEP accredited lactation programs in the world and the only CAAHEP accredited program in Michigan. I have clinical experience working with mothers on birthing units, in outpatient care, and providing prenatal education. I look forward to meeting you and being able to share my knowledge an insights while helping you to reach your breastfeeding goals!
